Oh my God!

How horrendous was that crash?!?!?!?!?

heh heh heh heh---

that's great!

Actually, the one that bugs me is all the kiddies around here that wear their facers up on the top of their heads like monstrous beanies.......

While I could care less personally about them wearing or not wearing a helmet, I just can't see launching a couple hundred bucks onto the pavement because you didn't bother putting it on properly...

MSF? Shoot... in Texas a scooter is just a motorized bicycle. If you have a car license, you need nothing else to ride a 50cc or less scooter. Besides, scooters are *SAFER* than motorcycles, riiiight???

I'm sure she gets confused because sometimes that thing fits well and the chin strap works great, and other times it fits like crap.

Nut loose behind the handlebars for sure...

Yeah, Arizona says any scooter less than 100cc is a moped. However, you can't really see what size the scooter in question is.

In some states a helmet is not mandatory to wear when riding a scooter. But wearing one improperly doesn't help if s/he gets into an accident.

What is it with spammers and resurrecting the most ancient threads?! Is life really that dull that in addition to trolling places to drop their heaping loads of offal that they actually need to surf through the older sections of said target sites for a place to make such deposits?

I mean seriously, this thread almost predates my membership here...

There is an odd pattern to it. The thread about Rebel Jill has been hit 3 or 4 times. I'm not sure what the reason is, but there has to be a simple explanation.

There is.

They are using a search engine. Put in a term and it will bring up the related things. I've hit on some dusty threads of other forums when searching. On case in point, I was searching Hamilton Watches. I found a five or six year old thread on a mens clothing forum about which wrist is correct to wear your watch.

It is simply amazing at the the depths the search engines will go. The spammers don't care if the thread is 8 minutes old or 8 years old. All they care about is getting their crap on the forum so they get paid. Lately they have made attempts at posting some content that is at least somewhat relevant to the conversation. Do not be fooled by this however.
That is simply a ploy to confuse moderators and administrators in to leaving their accounts open or not removing their posts.

Still, a spammer is a thief and scoundrel. They are profiting touting their questionable wares at the expense of those who run, maintain, and provide these discussion fora. Advertising without paying for it at the expense of others IS theft.
It is theft of service in a most underhanded fashion. There is nothing lower than a spammer. Nothing!
Trollers aren't anywhere near as low. Trolls are annoying at times but mostly pitiable folks with nothing else to do.
Spammers are thieves, pure and simple. They should be banned on sight. If there was a way to send 500,000 volts to their computers, frying their ability to wage their theft, that would be better.

Some day, I'll tell you how I really feel.

ah, I feel so stupid for falling for that. I just saw that it was new post not realizing that it was old old thread. I'll keep that in mind before I post something here. Oh well, lesson learned.

But the picture was funny and got me laughing :D

Not your fault. The spammer dug up the thread. Shack zapped the spammer. no worries.

No sweat, everyone falls for thread necromancy sooner or later. ;)

We used to have a member that was quite proficient at the necromancer angle, just to comment on their own ancient posts...
