 Post subject: New to me 1968 Triumph Bonneville on the road again

Finally got around to getting the Bonneville licenced. Took it out for a short shakedown run. Pretty successful since it ran very well, After thoroughly warming up i got the idle fairly smooth for the time being. I'm really looking forward to some Sunday rides on this thing.
The contrast between the 650 and modern bikes like the BMWs is very striking. Hard to believe we rode these things across continents back in the day. Performance is very antique, but the fun factor is way up there.
