Something I've been wanting to do for a while:

A thread dedicated to displaying the various colors, badges, and trims available for the Rebel throughout the years.

If anyone should happen to stumble across better pictures of the same models, then by all means, post them and someone on the staff will be more than happy to replace the existing pictures with better pictures.

Same with the color names. If anyone can say for one-hundred percent certain what the Honda name (as opposed to the "near names" of the various paint sellers) for the colors is, again-- post it up and we'll get it edited in!

Thanks!

Black '99, if that helps. Sorry about the universal dent.

In my garage, yes. I couldn't figure out how to show the image of that here because it's not actually handled as a jpg. Here's the link.

Duke,
I added a 2003 in blue and a 2002 in red in my garage, not sure how to edit your post. Also, the blue for the '86 250 is called Candy Eiger Blue.

2001 also comes in black.
That 2009 blue is a great color, almost better than black.

It's still a jpeg

Maybe try saving it to a file on your PC first (be sure and name it with the jpeg file extension, IE something.JPG) and then upload that to photobucket?

My 2002 Rebel. I couldn't find a good stock picture of it, they were either small or heavily compressed/blurry. If no one finds one before it gets warm again, I'll try and get a more "stock" looking picture with it pointed the right way :D

I found the papers on it, and everything that has color mentioned simply calls it "Red". Press materials probably had something more elegant than that.

Just curious? On the VIN Plate, is there a specific # or Code for the color for that paticular Bike?
Ride safe:

If I'm not mistaken, there should be a tag on the inside of the airbox cover that has a paint code on it - at least for the classics there should be.

I like the orange one, does anyone out there have that color? Are there any particular years I should be careful of, I know sometimes a specific year of a vehicle will have problems. I am going to be buying a rebel this year after all of the love for them that I see from people like you. Also, when i go to buy one is there anything specific i should watch for? Any information I can get would be great. :D
