On my way home from school, I decided to get lost on one of hwys in orange county. I thought I may never make it home but thought of jsonder would love this road gave me courage to come down from the unpaved mountain road eventually. My Rebel was ok though.

The road looks good. The Rebel does surprisingly well on such roads as long as you don't "hurry". Did you enjoy the side trip?

I was holding onto the handlebar with death grip and had to put my foot down a few times. Though I was on my 1st gear for the most part, I must say I would try it again.

I have new respect for you jsonder and dirt bikes.

The death grip is SO WRONG. The bike wants to stay upright; holding the bars loosely lets it self correct.

If you would try it again, something must have been positive. :)

Keep enjoying your motorcycle.

Yeah, my shoulder was sore and I felt numb to my hands and I couldn't look ahead but, it's a curious Siren call. I'll increase my insurance coverage after school is "finally" over next year.

On positive experience, I'm not sure if the trip was the reason but I feel like my cornering and slow maneuver has gotten better on the streets. or it's my imagination.
