Just a suggestion, not a complaint at all. :P

It would be nice if the forum's login session lasted longer, perhaps a week or two instead of a few minutes. I find it bothersome that I can't stay logged in between visits; it messes up my "view new posts" browsing. :3

Also, has the garage disappeared, or am I just too dumb to find it? >_> (Or both! Lol.)

Not sure what's going on there, my machines stay logged in as long as the window is open. I did poke around a little in the preferences but didn't find a setting.

The garage is gone. Here is a thread explaining most of the whys.

Yes there is no issue with staying logged in. I can stay on as long as my computer is on, and you can set your computer to log on automatically each time you are on line.
The garage is gone however. The new software doesn't support it.

Which version(s) of Chrome? I'm using the linux version and haven't had any problems with seeing that there are new replies to old threads or seeing new threads when I have exited the forum, exited chrome, and turned off the computer, restarted the computer (next day), opened chrome, and gone to the forum. {I majored in run-on sentence structures}

Not sure why you are having trouble. I did some checking and didn't find anything within the software to change or set that would effect your login session.

The only thing I 'do' know of is when you manually log in, there is that option to check to have the board automatically log you in each time you visit until you manually logout.

If you already have that checked, then it's most likely something to do with your browser and/or cookie settings (I think).

And as others have already told you, the Garage is gone :D . . but I am working on something to take it's place.

Hmmmm.....

Chromium 8.0.552.237 (70801) Ubuntu 10.04

Yea, I know it's an old Ubuntu release, but things seem more stable if I stay one release behind. >_> Lol.

I shall investigate my cookie settings and such in the morning, as I feel too lazy to fool with it at the moment. <_< I guess I must have munged something up while fiddling around with cache settings when testing java applets I'm working on. :3
