My honda rebel 125 1995 keeps blowing its fuse to the headlight and one of the people i work with who does all his own work on his bikes told me to wrap some tin foil around the fuse so the contact points connected i did this then went to go put it back in the bike. then i turned the key in the ignition then the lights flickered then slowly faded i know there is power coming out of the battery because i can still charge my phone got any ideas what it could be

The tinfoil trick is aperfectly acceptable temporary 'workaround' ONLY if you don't have a replacement fuse of the correct amp rating AND you know what blew the fuse AND have corrected it or the condition no longer exists. Otherwise, you're allowing current to flow through a circuit unprotected (by the fuse) and are asking for major melting/fire risk.
Get it out of there immediately.
