Just bought a rebel put a couple hundred miles on it this weekend. Its kinda slow but so is my gf so it will be ok. She says the rear seat is uncomfortable be she has a hank hill kinda backside. I do want some longer shocks tho if anyone knows where to look

Extending the shocks is not something to be done without consequences. The biggest issue may be in the alignment of the chain and the swingarm. Also, jacking the rear end will affect the steering of the bike somewhat, making it less stable due to less trail dimension and less rake angle on the forks.
