Becca and I just reserved Cabin #45, and I understand that SW & RW have cabin #46 reserved.

We plan to trailer up on Thursday, so I reserved for 3 nights. The second bedroom with two bunk beds and a twin bed is still up for grabs in our cabin, if anyone wants to share the cost.

Looking forward to the venison chili.

Mark's chili is great. Two batches last year. One was tasty and the other was tasty and HOT. See ya there this autumn.

I'm happy to see you guys are all raring to go...8 months in advance! It's gonna be a long wait for chili. Hope you aren't too hungry. ;-)

Mark & I will reserve a cabin (or two) real soon just to make sure we get them all close to each other. I'll let you all know when we get that finalized.

I'm sooooo ready to ride right now, but the weather here has been terrible. :-(

I guess this is a silly question, but, where is Lake Hope?

It's in Ohio at Lake Hope State Park in the beautiful Hocking Hills. :-)

Zep, there is some awesome scenery AND riding in southern Ohio. I, unfortunately, didn't discover it until last september. I also have to say that the people I met where A1! It's not too far from you! So make some plans. :)

I'm definitely considering Guba! Got a whole year ahead of us still; need to see what the wife will propose on MY vacation. LOL. Still might be a Zep on the guest list even though I no longer have my trusty Rebel.

Zep, I have been to Lake Hope the past 2 years. No problem with not having a Rebel. I plan on going to Lake Hope if I have not moved to Florida. You can always tag along (and this year probably have my 2 best friends from Bloomington along :-)).

There are some different "Rebels" that show up:

If you show up in the V-Strom, there will be two! PerfectStranger has one as well.

This is a heads up for tigerlily and AtlAggie. Just posted on another forum.

On another note,

Guba .. might be a good idea to touch bases with tigerlily or AtlAggie.

SW & I reserved cabin #46 last October .. one month after the last rally. It's already filled.

AtlAggie & Becca just reserved #45. At last post, they can take in 3 more, or 4 if pushing it.

Tigerlily planned to reserve the same 2 cabins .. #43 & #44. If everyone shows up who said they would .. and I believe they will .. those will fill up too.

Note the "clustered" cabins. If anyone is considering his own reservations, look at the cabins across the street. This would guarantee all our bikes parked in the same section. But please let tigerlily know so she's not stuck with the cost of empty cabins. Although I really don't see this happening with all the enthusiasm that this rally has generated.

Jim, I don't have an e-mail for her, but you could try sending her a PM on this web site.

Hey All,

I finally got around to changing the clutch. I'm pretty much now ready for the Rally! I like the timing this year as I have that Friday off. So, I would like to try and come up on Thursday and stay until Sunday. Having an extra day would be really great.

Has there been a cabin signup yet?

Cagie, you up for cruising out there together again?

Paul, RW posted this summary of the cabin situation in a post up above:

Since he posted that, we haven't heard anything from anyone wanting to share our cabin, so we have at least 3 beds available. Send me a PM if you are interested in one of those.

Alrighty! Seems I need new glasses! I actually quickly scanned over all the posts just looking for a composite list of rooming. So, I sent out the PM as requested! :-)
