Sounds good to me. That gives us a little more time to find somewhere to ride anyway.

If you're still working on it next weekend, I could do that.

I could but I am not sure I would be much of a help. Still on the early part of the learning curve when it comes to engine mechanics and whatnot. :(

Assuming I don't need any exotic tools, yes.

I have clymers, a basic socket set and random wrenches and screwdrivers.

Too bad Clymer's doesn't give you a tool list before each procedure. I just love taking my vehicle apart, and learning that I have to go buy a specialty wrench or something after everything is closed.

I will go through the instructions carefully tonight or tomorrow to make sure there is nothing I can't handle.

Jack said I shouldn't need anything unusual, so should be no problem.

Hey guys,

Was looking at sites that listed good rides and found a few that might work for us. A little longer than the last one and farther north or south, but if we plan right, would be good rides for us:

http://www.motorcycleroads.com/routes/SouthWest/TX/TX_33.shtml

http://www.motorcycleroads.com/routes/SouthWest/TX/TX_27.shtml

http://www.motorcycleroads.com/routes/SouthWest/TX/TX_19.shtml

Found these on this site:
http://www.motorcycleroads.com/routes/SouthWest/TX/TX_index.htm#north
