Ladies and Gents, People From All Over This Great Rock We Call Earth...

It is with great pleasure that I annouce... We moved to our new server today!

What does this mean to you? Well, not really much... everything will look the same, act the same, and should perform the same if not faster.

What does this mean to rebel250.com? Well, a LOT!!! First of all, we've moved away from a "monolithic" server model where the website and database exist together, on the same machine. Second, it means we now have more resources to support the (eventual, and long awaited) upgrades to the latest versions of the forum software and ultimately the "new look" of rebel250.com.

So yeah, I'm stoked... it took nearly a week of work for me to build the servers, harden the servers, protect the servers, configure the servers, and finally today... move the site to the new servers!

Still no ETA on the arrival of the "new look" but now I can put things into other peoples' capable hands without having to hand over the keys to the castle.

Thanks a lot. Those of us who don't even understand what you are talking about 90% of the time are all the more appreciative of your talents as a cyber-alchemist.

Sorry all... I broke something last night and didn't even realize it... That's why we were all getting "forbidden" messages... *sigh*

Yeah, the usual reason.

I blame the fat fingers, because I'm still in denial about age and forgetfulness. LOL
