I found out about MRF's roadside assistance through this board -- I think Shadow Shack mentioned it, but it is worth highlighting on the Wheelers and Dealers section.

MRF has the absolute BEST value for roadside assistance ever.

$20 a year gets you roadside assistance through Road America covered up to $200. Yes you read that right, $20. So if you get towed even once you've already saved yourself a boatload.

There is a limit that you cant get assistance within 7 days of previous assistance, but there is NO LIMIT on the number of times you can use this during a year!

I've had to get towed 3 times this year(unfortunately), and each time has been nothing less than a smooth experience. The operators are nice and make sure you are in a safe location and doing ok, the Tow trucks were up to par and the drivers knew what they were doing. And all I had to pay was my $20 annual membership and a few bucks to the drivers as a tip.

I have no idea how MRF makes money but seriously, if you ever ride more than 10 miles from your house, this is more than worth getting.

There's more details here:

MRF Roadside Assistance is really Road Americaand MRF is just one of the affiliate members.

They have several plans; Cycle Assist, Cycle Assist Plus and Cycle Assist Premium. I've had the premium plan for a couple of years now and it has more than paid for itself. The folks are really great to deal with!
